Alternative Propulsion Challenge Winner
It was very hard for me to chose the winning robot because they were all so good! In the end I chose mike1’s Propeller Bot V4 because the way it propelled itself was unique to any other lego robot I’ve ever seen!
I also want to give kudos to our other contestants and their amazing creations! I’ll never cease to be impressed by the creativity and ingenuity you show in your robotic masterpieces!
I’m looking forward to hosting a back to school challenge some time soon.

Propeller Bot V4
The winning robot of the NXTGallery 2008 Alternative Propulsion Challenge and one of my favorite robots of all time! When I watched the video I was amazed at how fast the robot moved by just using the power of wind!
